Show me that you understand the process by which tiny rock fragments are deposited into riverbeds, seas, or deserts and compacted or compressed into sedimentary rock. You need to show how all three types of rock can become sedimentary rocks Then how sedimentary rocks can become any of the other types.
Mention specific types of rocks and where they belong in the rock cycle. 10 points Examples; granite, sandstone, limestone, are they sedimentary, igneous or metamorphic.
